We want to hear from YOU

I have had a few people share with me how Ukulele playing has been coming for them as they begin to branch out and play it in their classrooms. I would love to hear MORE!

Please share with us how it is going for you, what worked, what didn't work. I am here to HELP. I will be sharing some posts at our TESTIMONIALS page. I would be ever so thankful to add a comment from YOU!

Happy Ukeing everyone!

Workshop!

Today is the first day of the NW NAfME Conference here in Portland, Oregon. I am looking forward to seeing good friends, working with the folks from Peripole, helping them sell their Ukuleles, and I am hoping to sit in on a few sessions and perhaps learn a thing or two. :)

Our Workshop, Whokulele? YOUkulele! Uke Made Easy is scheduled for 2:00 on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Getting ready...

The presentation of my workshop: Whokulele? YOUkulele! Uke Made Easy for the NW NAfME Conference is in 5 short days. Saturday, February 16th, 2013, at 2:00pm at the Oregon Convention Center.

I am finishing up all of the last minute details over the next few days to prepare; getting sound equipment together and working, handouts completed and printed, powerpoints (thanks to my sister, Aletha), video cameras functional and ready to record (along with teenage camera operators learning to run the equipment) and giveaways all printed and put together. There is still quite a bit to do, but I am very thankful to have teens who have the day off tomorrow with nothing to do because they have already finished their homework. :)

I am greatly looking forward to sharing with all the teachers who will be there, and I am thankful for the privilege to work with Peripole who will be providing me with the use of 30 Ukuleles for my conference. You can see and order their product line HERE.

If you are a teacher, I highly recommend their company to you! They are wonderful people to work with and they have great products for you to use at your school. Even if you aren't a teacher, and would like a great instrument for your own use, I still can recommend them to you!

Much to do, so I must go do it -

Whokulele? YOUkulele! Ukulele made easy.

Who can play the Ukulele? YOU can.

Ukulele is easy to learn and easy to teach. Our book is designed to help you as a teacher be able to easily learn and teach Ukulele to your students.

Why teach the Ukulele?
* Kids can learn melody, harmony, rhythm and theory
* It can be both a solo and an ensemble instrument
* You can sing and play at the same time
* Ukuleles are affordable and portable
* Many popular songs are played on the Uke that kids want to learn
* Easier than a guitar - only 4 strings
* Smaller than a guitar, easier for young kids to use
* Kids love to play them!
